This was a big deal for me as I didn't want to try anything where the person did not understand what was happening to me.

So what is panic away anyway and does it work? The panic away book is either a donwloadable pdf or you can get it in hardback. It also comes with a CD which you can use in the car if you suffer from anxiety when you are out. Which was great for me as this was one of the issues that I was having originally.

So how does panic away work? Joe goes through some of the more important aspects of panic attacks, such as the fight or flight mechanism. Now when doctors had described this to me before I never really understood the concept properly. But if I can give you an example below

"When you are out shopping and you are overcome with anxiety, your heart starts pumping, you get sweaty, your dizzy and you just want to get out of there. Well this is the flight mechanism kicking in" So you want to run.

The major thing that panic away discusses is how to invite the anxiety into your life. Sounds a bit weird I know but you will understand more when you have a look at the book itself.

One of the big things you need to understand is that panic attacks don't generally just go away. You need to work on controlling them in the right way and switching your mind from negative to positive thoughts. Sounds easy heah!!!!!!!
